Climate change is definitely a big issue, but predicting it on a zip-code basis is unrealistic because our math isn't good enough yet. The real problem is not having the tools to deal with it yet. Making solar panels requires seven times more energy than making aluminum, and we're probably going to lose most polysilicon production capacity when China breaks down, creating an industrial production bottleneck.
