Unpredictability Does Not Create Free Will
The future was not fixed at the Big Bang—chaos, nonlinearity, butterfly effects, and possibly quantum indeterminacy make the world genuinely unpredictable with multiple possible futures—but unpredictability provides no scope for free will, since being pushed around by random dice rolls confers no greater responsibility, and determinism is only visible retrospectively once one future has actualized.

“right now in this moment there are indeed multiple possible futures it's not already set in stone... it's only once one particular possible future turns out to be the one that happened that you could then see the deterministic steps that got you there”
