The Nippon Ishin no Kai (a right-wing populist party in Japan) and its Upper House Secretary-General Naoki Inose sent 20 pickup trucks loaded with supplies to Ukraine in 2023, paid for using party member stipends, with Inose arguing that as long as the trucks aren't used to transport weapons, there's no problem with recipients using them for that purpose if they choose.
