Serology and symptom resolution as immunity proxies

Serological tests, once reliable, can indicate convalescence and at least temporary immunity via a specific antibody, and it is believed (though not certain, given some South Korean reinfection reports) that during a post-symptomatic period viral shedding is low, so recovered-asymptomatic people can rejoin the population's status absent symptom resurgence even without a serology test.
