Global support for nuclear energy has been unanimous and unexpected in scope, with traditionally anti-nuclear jurisdictions pivoting toward nuclear, China planning 150 gigawatts of new reactors in the next decade (more than was built globally in the last 35 years), and 31 countries at COP28 pledging to triple nuclear capacity by 2050.
