From an orthodox Christian standpoint, transhumanism is not too ambitious but pathetically unambitious—merely changing the body (analogous to a transsexual changing sex organs)—whereas the real demand is to transform the whole self: body, heart, mind, and soul, which only God's grace can accomplish.
