Peter owned some Bitcoin at one point that was gifted to him—he never actually bought any—and he had maybe 30-40% of a Bitcoin; the person who created the wallet never told him the seed phrase or password, only gave him a PIN which eventually stopped working, and the Bitcoin was lost in cyberspace forever.
