Treat People as Adults Not Children

The lesson of recent years is that people must be treated as adults given sophisticated information, not pedantically like children, because when you simplify and propagandize, people see through it and respond by doing their own 'research,' leading to diminished trust in legacy media, universities, and other sense-making institutions.
