Uranium demand is relatively easy to model compared to other commodity sectors because there is no OPEC-like cartel that can unilaterally shift supply (Kazakhstan comes closest but cannot meet production targets), and demand is derived from a fixed, predictable base (number of operating reactors × fuel requirements) that cannot be easily substituted or deferred.
