A one-minute loving-kindness meditation produces measurably different psychological outcomes than a signature-strength meditation: the loving-kindness group experiences happiness as calm and contentment (like 50-year-olds), is more likely to do pro-social things (e.g., giving up a bus seat), and trained children become about 23% more likely to give away their stickers.
